Ricardo Devis Botella, with a BS degree in Computer Science, is managing partner of the mariatomasa real estate group, academic of number on the Basque Gastronomy Academy, member of the Philharmonic Society of Bilbao, proud member of the Sociedad Bilbaina, voting member of ACM, IEEE, IAP Fellow, referee in Kontsumobide (Basque Institute of Consumer Affairs), former president of AEGIN (Basque association of real estate brokerage agencies), and Honorary professor of EUITIO (Computer Science Engineering University School) of Oviedo.

In 2013 he founded mariatomasa.com, seed of the current and successful real estate group (mariatomasa.immo, mariatomasa.casa, mariatomasa.pro, mariatomasa.academy), after leaving the office of Director of Digital strategy of the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs of the Basque Government, which he ran from 2010 to the end of 2012. His prior performance is strictly linked to the consulting of high productivity projects in the technology sector, in which he was operating since 1982, with a strong emphasis on Object Technology and Component-based organization since 1987.

He has been acting as technological evangelist of Soluziona International Software Factory and responsible for the area of postgraduate training of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting S.L., as well as President of INFOPLUS SL and Object Trainers SL, and managing partner of Ricardo Devis & Asociados S.L. He was, too -from 1997 to 2002- Architect, Coordinator and Professor of the Master of engineering of Software of the University of Deusto, Coordinator and Professor of the course of Specialization in Internet Solutions at the same University, director of the Master of Specialization in Enterprise Application Integration at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real, Spain), Coordinator and Professor of the Master of IAI (Internet Applications Integration) Expertise at the University of Oviedo, Coordinator and Professor of the Master in e-Business at the University of Deusto (in Bilbao and Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain), architect and coordinator of the Master in e-Business developed by the University of Deusto and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Madrid, visiting professor at the Benemerita Universidad de Puebla (Mexico), and professor of the Centro Superior de Arquitectura (Architecture High Level Academy) of Madrid, apart from being a regular lecturer at many other universities. As a recognized authority in Object-oriented technology, has trained 1300 + software engineers in C++, Smalltalk, Java, XML and OORÄ/OOA/OOD methods, with special emphasis on Web portals, EAI/IAI and e-Business, as well as (co) led 100 + Object-oriented projects, and several processes of OOBPR in different industrial sectors, primarily for large corporations and institutional companies.
